HALFWAY, YAY!
One year ago on this date we announced to social media we are beginning the adoption process – we are humbled, filled with gratitude, and forever touched by the role you have already had in our future child(ren)’s lives! Your valuing their life by the giving of your resources to take part in the process of providing them a home and parents, including your resources of time and prayers, is incredible! We would not be halfway there without the sacrificial giving and praying so many have poured into our child(ren)’s lives already, and we are excited to care for them, love them, and cherish them in our home in His perfect time. “Thank you” doesn’t feel like it cuts it, nor describes the extent of our gratitude!

Lord-willing, our hope is that next year at this time we will financially be ready and fundraised to enter into the home study process, which will last a few months. After that concludes we then become “active”, meaning any day, any week, any month we could receive a phone call that we are being blessed with the amazing gift of becoming parents to the child(ren) whom we have prayed for years (let me tell ya, that will be one surreal moment!). We trust that phone call will come in His perfect time and not a second sooner or later!
Winter Wonderland Adoption Carnival & Silent Auction
Our culminating fundraiser is to be held (Lord-willing) Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at the gymnasium of Encounter Church in Palmyra, with the entrance booth open from 10am-12pm. More details, announcements and advertisements to come, but please start spreading the word to neighbors, friends, family, and strangers alike to save the date (we know in this day in age calendars fill up fast).
We also have printed flyers—if you are local and have a place to hang one to advertise in the Fall, please let us know and we can get one to you; a friend who is incredibly talented in the graphic design area (I'm lookin' at you, @Rachael Shenk) has been such a huge blessing in the creating of our advertising pieces for the carnival—we are pumped! We have been preparing and praying for this carnival already for months, and we will continue to strive to make it a day that everyone remembers; our goal and prayer is for all involved to have a blast, while supporting the cause of adoption. When kids are restless and looking for something to do to cheer up the post-holiday blues, this is your Saturday solution (you’re welcome ;)).

We have many hands on deck already for this carnival which we are so grateful for, but we could still use help!
